Applying the principles of spiritual counselling in mediation makes it easier to achieve an outcome which can be mutually accepted. If possible a level of agreement can be found which is seen as win-win for both sides.
The resolution of a conflict doesn’t always allow for outcomes which are in favour of all involved parties. Counselling can provide support and guidance for negotiations and subsequent understanding of results and their implications.
If the parameters are set properly at the beginning of a dispute, then a lasting mutual understanding can be found. That requires an attitude of true understanding and respect and the willingness to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties.
Crucial for the whole process and a good result is the underlying fabric of thoughts and feelings which humans unconsciously perceive and respond to.
